Adult's biological meaning refers to an animal with the capacity to reproduce. In the realm of human beings, adult is a reference to legal and social concepts. An adult who is legally mature, in contrast to "minors" (also known as non-adults) are those who are older than the average age and consequently considered responsible, independent as well as independent. Legal adults can also be referred to as a major.
