Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1997 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and received great reviews from both music bloggers and the press. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to play music only to have fun or for the sake of growing, but that she was encouraged to take it seriously. She began writing songs of her own. Her sources include noted writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love for Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mother suggested that they could help people not to gain fame with her work but to make those around them see their importance and the ways they impact the world. As a young girl She began playing the piano. At age nine, she began writing her own songs. This was not known to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. As she says, she just likes to write songs. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
